Update on our building homes in Haiti!

Psalm 127:1 Unless The Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless The Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

This week has been huge for us in Boaz Ministries. It was two years ago that we took our first mission trip to Haiti and it was at that time God spoke to me about building homes for at risk teens.

The reason this is important is because many teens who age out of orphanages, have no where to go and unless they have a safe place to go, they will be at huge risk of human traffickers and all sorts of crime. In many cases all that has been done for them could be undone in 24 hours.

There are also teens that who have struggled for years to survive and often they start school late through avenues like our sponsorship program. These kids will never be able to complete their schooling in time, and by providing homes for them to finish their school, these homes will be crucial.

We made an offer on land two years ago and just this week we were able to begin work on the land. We have raised over half of the money needed for the land purchase, and we still have work to do in that area ( we still need to raise about $40,000 USD), but we are ready to move forward.

The pictures show a portion of the land that we began to clear on Monday. Our goal is to have the first home opened by October 2016.

Thanks to all who have helped us so far, and we continue to trust God for provision and mission teams to go and help, and that he would prepare us to receive teens in just a little over 18 months.

We would appreciate your prayer and want to provide you an opportunity to go and serve in this beautiful land! Want to go on a mission trip through Boaz Ministries? We sure hope so!

If you feel led to support this project in any way, we would love that!
